The Collective Boutiques

The situation

Hundreds of shop owners per building, opening fast

The Collective Boutiques is a new company that opens large stores where independent shop owners each run a boutique inside. Its first location opened in Franklin, Tennessee in late June 2026, and more followed through the fall.

Every building had to open with hundreds of shop owners set up, a register that knew whose item was whose, and a way to pay every one of them correctly at the end of the month. Syncrostore brought all 13 online between July and September 2026.

The promise to shop owners, and what runs it

The Collective Boutiques tells shop owners it will open, staff and run the store so they don’t have to be there. Syncrostore runs the sales, the vendor portals, rent and settlements behind that promise.

At the register

Every item rings to its owner

Store staff check out baskets holding items from many boutiques. Each line posts to the right shop owner’s ledger at the moment of sale. How multi-vendor checkout works.

Rent and commission

Monthly rent plus a flat 10%

Rent by the space and the 10% commission are set once per shop owner in Syncrostore and applied every cycle.

Sales tax

Collected and remitted by the store

Sales tax is collected at the Syncrostore register. The store is the registered business and remits it, so shop owners don’t have to.

Onboarding

Lease signed and paid, login sent

Once a shop owner’s lease is signed and paid in The Collective Boutiques’ own portal, an API tells Syncrostore which space they rented and the rent, and Syncrostore sends their invitation to set up an account. From then on they see sales, balances and statements in their Syncrostore vendor portal.

Month end

Itemized settlements

Each month, settlements run in Syncrostore and every shop owner gets an itemized statement of sales, rent and commission. How settlements work.

Thirteen buildings

One payout, however many stores

All 13 locations run on one Enterprise account. A shop owner with boutiques in several stores gets one combined settlement: one direct deposit, with anything they owe in one store netted against sales in another.

“The system bends to how we actually run our stores instead of forcing a process on us. The API has let us automate settlements, vendor accounts and reporting across 13 locations, and they have kept up with us as we have grown.”

At the counter

The same kit in every store

Every location runs the same counter: a Landi CX20 with its customer-facing display, a Dejavoo payment terminal and a barcode scanner, with one label printer per store. All of it comes from the hardware Syncrostore supports. The photo is the Overland Park counter.
